A new public art installation, envisioned and commissioned through a public-private partnership between the Genesis Park Neighborhood Association, I-77 Mobility Partners, the City of Charlotte, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation, is now on display in the Genesis Park Neighborhood near uptown Charlotte.
Charlotte artist Sala Faruq has created works of art celebrating the Genesis Park Neighborhood and memorializing community advocate, Pastor Barbara Brewton. One of the works is now mounted and displayed on the NCDOT noise wall facing the Genesis Park Neighborhood for the community to enjoy.
