Time Out Youth Center offers support, advocacy, and opportunities for personal development and social interaction to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) youth ages 13-24. Time Out Youth offers vital programs, fostering unconditional acceptance, and creating safe spaces for self-expression through leadership, community support and advocacy.

The I-77 Drive for Community “Applause for a Cause” is an annual competition for five local nonprofit organizations to have the chance to win between $5,000 and a grand prize of $15,000. On November 3, 2023, each nonprofit was paired with a singer at a public concert. The singer that received the loudest applause from audience members secured the top prize for its nonprofit partner. At the end of the night, Time Out Youth was declared the winner.
The five nonprofit organizations that participated in this year’s program were selected using the following criteria: provides aid to disadvantaged groups, aids equal opportunity programs and provides infrastructure for the community.

The Ada Jenkins Center promotes the importance of education and equal opportunity for all citizens. They are a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization helping those in poverty break the cycle and gain economic independence. The Center has become a resource hub for Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville and a well-respected model for community centers in the region.

From concerts and open mic nights to youth music scholarships and outreach, Tosco Music is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the community explore, develop and share their passion for music in all its forms.
Providing hot meals to the hungry is only part of FeedNC's mission. By creating connections to food, education, and resources as a catalyst for change, FeedNC has served thousands of families across four counties by way of innovative programs, including culinary job training, community connections, community cooking demos, food movers, grassroots grocery, daily fare, mobile pantries, food rescuers and catering.
